Trap Them – Blissfucker

a0372974502_10

Bandcamp | Facebook | Prosthetic Records

Altamente recomendado.

Backstabbers Inc. – M.I.A.

a1488039378_10

Para fans de State of Fear, Doom o Disrupt.

Negative Standards / Whitehorse split review

Altamente recomendado.

Requests from bands vol.4

Nerves – Nerves

These guys comes from Minneapolis, Minnesota and their debut ep was released a few weeks ago. If you are into bands like Converge, Botch or The Dillinger Escape Plan, you really need to listen this band. Highly recommended.

Holy – The Age of Collapse

HOLY fuck, these italians are back with a new lp released through the german label Adagio 830. This is the follow up from their self-titled 12 inch released on Hell, Yes!… the result of  their fourteen new tracks is devastating, they continue in the same line of black hardcore/punk with hints of crust/powerviolence and political lyrics. If you are into Trash Talk, Punch or DNF, you should definetely give a listen to this band, highly recommended.

Revengeance – Complacent  Complacency

Revengeance is a five piece power-violence locomotive. Taking it’s first steps in 2011, and already with three releases under their belts, Revengeance took the punk scene by storm with its unique blend of 80´s hardcore, proto-grindcore and all the cult 90´s power-violence bands, and adding a sprinkle of “fuck off” attitude. In just one year they managed to play all the key Portuguese festivals and support slots for some overseas acts. Expect angry female/male vocals, fast drumming and loud guitars. The band is in its essence a tribute to power-violence. Give it a try or fuck off.

A Thousand Words – Sinners

After some line up changes and a demo in 2009, the band did several shows in Portugal opening for such hardcore acts like: Shai Hulud, Anchor, Soul Control, No Turning Back, Rise and Fall, For the Glory and Devil in Me to name a few, the band also did some weekends in Spain and an European tour in 2010 to promote their demo.  Drinking influences from bands like Unbroken, Damnation A.D. and Rise and Fall the boys recorded their recent EP in 2012 titled “SINNERS”.

Romero – Take The Potion

Romero’s first full length has been released on January, thanks to a kickstar campaign the album will be released as vinyl. The cd version can be ordered from their bigcartel page as well as other merch. These folks keep  playing stoner metal full of fuzzy riffages and psychedelics passages, it’s not a total stoner metal record cause  they bring the darkness and heaviness of doom metal which gives to their sound another direction. If you roll into stoner metal or doom metal, Take The Potion is what you need nowadays, highly recommended.

I´m working on a huge band request post, is the easiest way to finish with all the requests. Have been listening most of the bands requests, some of them will appear soonish, some other not. Thanks for share your music with mvsicasheroin.

Blessings – Bittervatten

Sweden | 2012 |  Serene Records/Dålig Stämning

1. Bittervatten
2. Worms Of The Earth
3. Strings Of Red
4. The Shrine
5. Wormwood Litany
6. Seven Blessings
7. Licking The Hand That Bleeds

Blessings is a swedish power trio based in Gothenburg, formed in 2011 and featuring members of Anchor, Painted Wolves, Scraps Of Tape, Tsukimono and Fä among others. This is their first ep recorded and sounds insane, the tag hardcore/punk for this band  gives the idea of a music pattern, something you clearly note they don’t have. so lets say they play some kind of hardcore influenced by crust/doom/drone/shoegaze, the recordings are full of noise and feedbacks giving a darker sound.

Bittervaten was released on tape through their own label Dålig Stämning and Serene records, such tape is sold out but you can get this for the price you want on their bandcamp. A new 7″ of shorter material is in the works, as well as a longer 30+ min track which will be a separate release sometime in the fall of 2013

Jungbluth – S/T Tape

Origin: Germany
Genre: Crust / Hardcore / Punk
Label: Self-Released

Jungbluth is a three piece band coming from Münster, Germany and the band have members of Alpinist, since they are taking a break i guess some members want to keep playing and do the things they like, so, as you hear the complete tape you know these guys are creating something really fresh, its hardcore as it best with strong lyrics, filled tons of feedbacks and parts to head-bang, seriously get into this guys.
If you are into bands like Birds In Row, Perth Express and obviously Alpinist, take a listen to this tape, you can just go to bandcamp and download this for free, to buy a tape send a message to  jungbluthpunx[at]gmx[dot]de. Highly recommended.

Vyst – Bad News Travel Slowly

Origin: Germany
Genre: Crust / Dark Hardcore / Punk
Label: Vendetta Records
Vyst is made by ex/current members of Throwers, Glasses and Perth Express, what else do you need to know about them with seeing where these guys come from. They said their sound is a mix from their previous bands or a more brutal version of Perth Express… who knows, give a listen and discover this by yourself. Highly recommended.

Dredd – Recurring Nightmare

Dredd´s new ep is here, ¨Recurrind Nightmare¨ is going to be released as tape on Downside Records this november. meanwhile you can go to bandcamp and download this for free.
Probably you can think this is other  blackened hardcore/crust/sludge band but once you start listening your perception changes and is easy   to like what the band has done with this new record. All starts with a dronnig riff thats goes heavier and another guitar comes with feedback and everything is taking shape, a dark/metallic hardcore full of feedbacks, start-stops and blast beats. If you are seeking for something fresh in the genre you should give a listen to this four track ep. Highly recommended,

If you are fan of Cursed, Children of God or SSoS, you need to get this asap, highly recommended. [Band request]

Esoteric Youth – Demo

Origin: United Kingdom
Year: 2012
Genre: Crust | Dark Hardcore | Grind
Tracks: 5
Label: Unsigned

Esoteric Youth is a new band coming from the UK, don’t know exactly what place and how many members play in the band, don’t find that kind of info… but i honestly don’t give much importance to the information if their music says it all. This demo contains 5 tunes packaged with metallic riffs, meaner hardcore with blast beats, at times it turns more black metal influenced, but that’s not bad at all, actually it makes more interesting their music. Can’t wait for future recordings … highly recommended.

I remember listen to Geraniüm’s tour cd and it was more into the crust/punk sound, this new record has the crust sound but it’s more shaped into the dark/metallic hardcore, a bit more melodic than their past stuff. For fans of Alpinist, From Ashes Rise, Downfall of Gaia, recommended.[Band request]

“This is another brilliant Crust Punk/Sludge Metal release that doesn’t outstay it’s welcome. Its actually the right length to show this bands talent for writing superb top-notch Sludge Metal riffs. The riffs are played fast and furious and to precision at times as well. Some songs are only on for 2 mins or so but they still pack a hard hitting Sludge Metal punch. Especially on tracks like “When Civilisation is No Longer Enough” and “Liagonemerte”.” from Sludgelord.[Band request]

Never found a proper rip for the 7″,  til now. Hungry Lungs comes from Germany, the band is fronted by a beautiful girl, she screams her lungs out in every track. For those who don’t know them, these guys started around 2009 and they have just a couple of tracks released, not much to be real but their sound can be compared with bands like Perth Express,Gomek or Glasses, germans knows how to sound dark and heavy. Tracks: 4
Label: Southern Lord Records

When i saw this 7″ out in Southern Lord Records i thought it was the band from UK, but when i read they were from Vancouver i search for this band and found a gem of band. Like i mentioned before this is Baptists from Vancouver, Canada. This 4 dewds are like the Cursed vol.2, they sound a bit more angry and more metallic, i don’t make the comparition to say this band rip off the sound of Cursed, i mean more like they are going to be recognized pretty soon!. However, i’m pretty psyched with this 7″ and i hope soon they release something else, i’m really looking forwad. For fans of Cursed, Converge, Torch Runner or Trap Them. Highly Recommended.

Absolutist is a 3 piece band from Ireland, they remind me to the old days when i used to listen more punk/crust and those things, a really blackened and metallic hardcore punk with the crusty influence everywere…the voice fits better in a grindcore/powerviolence band, but it doesn’t sound bad on this band[Band Request]

Fifteen Dead – Demo

Origin: Scotland
Year: 2011
Genre: Black Metal|Crust|Punk
Tracks: 5
Label: Unsigned
Buy: No Buy Option
Fifteen Dead is a new band coming from Norway, Ireland and Scotland…weird but true, they are based in Aberdeen, Scotland. They take crust punk to the norway black metal cult for make a pure and interesting sound, you don’t hear the mix in all the song, you hear the changes from crust to black and viceversa, that’s what i like from this band. An interesting band you should give a listen.[Band Request]

“Leeds 3 piece, taking influences from the doomy atmospherics of Neurosis, an underbelly of crust care of Amebix, and an air of recklessness favoured by the likes of Eyehategod. The band create a vibe that is heavy, dark and ambient, with tortured male/female vocals, and a mission to take you to a frightening place. Recorded with Matt (Pumpkin Records) at Brunswick Mill, Manchester in October 2010, and artwork and layout by Black Uroborus, this CD comes in a 4-panel digipack, and is limited to 150 copies.”[Label Request]

“Year Of The Flood formed in Nottingham in early 2010 from the remnants of 2 well-known Nottingham bands. Hot on the heels of the sold-out debut EP ‘A Utopian View’ is the follow up EP ‘Redefine The Natural Order. Drawing influences from crust hardcore, doom and down-tempo sludge metal they use their music to paint a bleak picture of a world on the brink of it’s ultimate self-consumption. Heavily inspired by the dystopian literature of author Margaret Atwood, with the overriding themes of violence, greed, consumerism and social selfishness that threaten to overwhelm modern society.”[Label Request]

New ep by Planks from germany, these guys have been doing great things, months ago they put out an album called “The Darkest Of Grays” and it was for free download, now they come with an ep called “Solicit To Fall” and it was recorded in the same session as “The Darkest Of Grays” it sounds similar to their last release, they keep that heavy atmosphere where sludge metal and hardcore meets black metal, no doubt Planks is one of the best punk band out there in germany, from my point of view. You can buy this directly from their bandcamp, send them a message if you want a record, it comes as one side LP. For fans of Black Freighter, Northless, His Hero Is Gone or Tombs. Highly Recommended.

Found this at other blogs and i really get into it. These dudes are creating something really dirty and chaotic songs, they take the most downtuned hardcore beats with some sort of crust riffage throwing some sludge here and there. Sometimes they remind me to Eyehategod but a little bit more dirty. Give them a try, it’s worth the listen. Highly Recommended.

Happy new year! Celebrate with these sweet guys from ENDLESS DISEASE, a Black Metal/Crust outfit from Texas. Our Dawn Is The End is their second demo, including the songs of their first + 2 more. The sound is killer, which I didn’t expect from a demo by a band in this genre. Fast, slow, evil, fucking perfect vocals! Only bummer is the runtime, only 10 minutes of this sweet stuff. Anyway, get this shit and someone go sign these guys!
